DiamondGlow Facial Treatment for skin resurfacing
Human skin is exposed to the environment and age-related changes. Of course, we all want it not to lose its smoothness, to be even, and at the same time without wrinkles. But small bumps, scars, and traces of unsuccessful acne cleansing can spoil the appearance. But cosmetology keeps pace with the times, and today it can cope with all your skin problems. There are a number of sparing procedures, thanks to which the face can become fresh and young again.
The benefits of abrasion are known to all women. But many think that this cosmetic trick is quite painful. Probably, it was then, when they started using chemical peels. But the modern method of cleansing the skin has made this procedure less dangerous and/or painful, and it does not cause discomfort.
What is the difference between diamond glow and microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion uses an abrasive handheld instrument to gently sand away the first layer of the skin. The first layer of the skin gets all the dirt and damage from the environment; it also receives the worst damage due to sun exposure. As our cells turnover, more dead skin cells build up on the topmost layer of the skin.
Dead skin cells on the first skin layer make the skin look less vibrant. The dead cells, along with dirt and oil, clog up the pores, resulting in various skin conditions such as acne, enlarged pores, dull skin, and uneven skin tone. Lastly, the dead skin cell buildup on the top layer of the skin prevents skincare products from penetrating the skin deeply enough.
Microdermabrasion removes that dead skin cell-filled top layer, along with all the dirt, and oil. It exfoliates the skin to reveal the healthier layer beneath it. Microdermabrasion also extracts the grease, gunk, and dead skin cells clogging up the pores.
Diamond Glow does everything that microdermabrasion does, except more. Microdermabrasion exfoliates and extracts (if needed); Diamond Glow exfoliates, extracts, and infuses the skin with vitalizing serums. The difference between Diamond Glow and microdermabrasion is that Diamond Glow is simply better.
Diamond Glow treatments do more for the skin. Plus, it is more effective at exfoliating and extracting than microdermabrasion.
Some may afraid of DiamondGlow cosmetic treatment because of the fear of an allergic skin reaction, but due to the composition, diamond chips are not an allergen, and their small size makes the procedure absolutely painless. DiamondGlow facial treatment is recommended by all cosmetologists, without exception, because the crystals do not cause harm and do not injure the skin, while pain is reduced to zero. This is possible due to the fact that the crystals, under the influence of the airflow work only on the first layer of the epidermis, and there are no nerve terminals.

Stages of DiamondGlow facial treatment
- Cleanse
This step helps ensure that your skin is 100% ready for the DiamondGlow treatment. During this stage, your DiamondGlow expert will clean dirt, impurities, and makeup off of your skin to maximize your results from the next three steps.
- Exfoliate
This next step uses the DiamondGlow device to gently exfoliate the top dermal tissue, where signs of aging, hyperpigmentation, and more are most visible. Don’t worry, this stage won’t hurt; if anything, it will feel like an at-home exfoliation.
- Extract
This stage is where the DiamondGlow treatment really kicks into gear, as it manually removes all of the impurities – like blackheads – that are stuck in your pores. This step is crucial for clients who want to achieve gorgeous skin, as it helps reduce the size of enlarged pores, as well as target stubborn pimples, blackheads, and more.
- Infuse
This final step helps produce the kind of glow that makes DiamondGlow such a popular treatment. During the infusion process, a specific serum is chosen depending on the patient’s concern to treat and hydrate the skin, revealing hydrated and radiant skin!
DiamondGlow facial treatment aftercare
Throughout the course, be sure to use a cream with a sun protection degree of at least SPF 20. In order to avoid redness and excessive sweating of the skin, postpone physical exercises and don’t be under the sun when the sun is at its zenith. The sensitivity of the skin will become less, but this will be 7 days after your visit to the aesthetician.
It is better to replace your usual face cream with a greasier one immediately after the session. This will prevent dryness and flaking. Avoid using cosmetics that contain elements of glycolic and lactic acid. Preferably at least 5 days. Otherwise, your face will immediately begin to burn. Also, the face cannot be scrubbed 10 days after the procedure. It is not recommended to use any products containing Retin-A a few days before and after the treatment. Do not apply tone, powder, or blush during the first three days after the treatment.
